Working closely with the University of Cambridge to mark its 800th anniversary, the Cambridge Film Trust is compiling a unique programme to celebrate centuries of scientific discoveries and creative achievements.
We are kindly asking for your assistance in sourcing footage that illustrates the many facets of an academic institution that has inspired generations. Do you have any old films filed away? Or recordings on VHS or other tape formats? Or perhaps some stills of renowned alumni? Do you know of any University film productions or recorded footage of ADC performances, Rag Processions, visiting lecturers, demonstrations, rallies or protests? If you have any other material that you think we could use, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Please be assured, your material will be treated with the utmost professional care and returned to you.
To discuss your potential contribution, please email us or call on 01223 500082.
Visit the 800th Anniversary website to find out more about the University’s celebrations throughout 2009.
