Cambridge Wordfest 2009

Our partner organisation Cambridge Wordfest has recently announced its programme of literary treats for this spring (23-26 April). Authors appearing include Andrew Motion, visiting Cambridge in the last week of his laureateship, and eminent historian David Starkey who’ll be talking about Henry VIII in the 500th anniversary week of the King’s accession to the throne.

Illustrating Victorian Britain with Jeremy Paxman

On Thursday 19 March, our trading arm Cambridge Film Projects will be at Ely Cathedral for the launch of Jeremy Paxman’s new book, The Victorians: Britain Through the Paintings of the Age. We’ll be providing the equipment and expertise to project many of the illustrations featured in the art history volume against the stunning backdrop of the church.
