Last Saturday the local 209radio show ‘Bums On Seats’ aired a piece about the restoration of the old Sawston cinema and PROJECTING THE PAST, a documentary detailing the history of cinema. Our resident photographer Tom Catchesides has captured some great footage of passers-by admiring our fantastic People’s Cinema project. It has proven to be quite a hit with the public, garnering coverage on BBC Look East, and this short clip demonstrates just how interested the people of Cambridge were in our screenings.
