The 8th Cambridge African Film Festival (29 October - 8 November 2009) opens this evening with a special screening of SKIN (12A), directed by Cambridge’s very own Anthony Fabian.
The film is based on the true story of Sandra Laing, who was born ‘Coloured’ to white Afrikaner parents during apartheid South Africa. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with producer Margaret Matheson.
Visit the Cambridge African Film Festival website for the latest programme details.
The Cambridge Film Trust is proud to sponsor the Festival alongside Screen East, the regional screen agency, Trinity College, the Cambridge University Centre of African Studies, the Smuts Fund and the Arts Picturehouse.
